Design and layout for a non-academic essay by French poet, novelist and music enthusiast Fany Chiarello. Basta Now is an introduction to the vast womxn’s experimental music scene that was never written about, unravelling in the list of 2371 names of female, trans and non-binary artists around the world. The form is playful and is laid out in a careful design with illustrations, photos and lists, including discographies.

Basta Now is the first book publication on Permanent Draft, an all-female record label and micro-press founded by musician Valentina Magaletti and writer Fanny Chiarello that aims to give exposure to contemporary female, non-binary and transgender artists.
